Create custom guitar chord diagrams with fret numbers, fingers, barres and a left-handed view. Export sharp SVG or high-resolution PNG, free in your browser.
x = muted, 0 = open. Use spaces for frets above 9: 10 12 12 11 10 10.

Barre joins the outermost fretted strings at or above that fret; higher dots remain visible. Check physical fingering before teaching a shape.
Start with C, Am, G, F or Bm, or enter your own six-string fingering. The input always runs from low E to high E, even when the diagram is mirrored for a left-handed player. Use x for a muted string and 0 for an open string. Separate high fret numbers with spaces: 10 12 12 11 10 10.
Assign fingers 1–4 to fretted notes. A barre spans the outermost strings whose frets are at or above its selected fret. The diagram automatically moves up the neck for higher positions. Shapes wider than five frets show an error so no note silently disappears from your export. The title is your own label; the tool does not infer or guarantee a chord name from a custom shape.
SVG stays sharp in documents and vector editors. PNG exports at 960 × 1290 pixels for slides and lesson handouts. Choose a transparent background when placing the diagram onto another design. Exports retain the same fret positions and handedness as your preview. Everything is generated locally, with no login or upload.
The Guitar Chord Finder looks up playable shapes. This maker edits a particular voicing for your own lesson or arrangement. Check the tuning and name before sharing it; familiar fret shapes produce different notes in alternate tunings.
