All chords share the selected duration in 4/4. Slash chords keep a separate bass below the chord. Inversion changes the upper chord tones. This converts written chord names; it does not detect chords from audio or lyrics.
Enter written chords such as C Am7 F G7, choose a tempo and the beats held by each chord, and audition the result. Download creates a Standard MIDI File with note-on/note-off events, a tempo event and a 4/4 time signature. Import it onto a piano or other instrument track in your DAW. MIDI is performance data, not an audio recording.
C/E includes E below the C chord. The inversion menu moves lower upper-chord tones up an octave; an explicit slash bass stays underneath. Note names shown on each card describe the exact MIDI pitches exported. Transposing shifts every note, including the slash bass, by the selected number of semitones.
Major and minor triads, power chords, diminished and augmented chords, sus2/sus4, 6/m6, 7/maj7/m7/mMaj7/dim7/m7b5, add9/madd9, 9/maj9/m9 and 7sus4. Use up to 32 chords. Unsupported names show an error rather than silently substituting a major chord. This does not analyse recordings or identify a song from its lyrics.
The conversion happens on your device. Every chord uses the selected duration; edit individual rhythms after import into your DAW. Preview uses a simple synth, so your DAW instrument will sound different. No cloud upload or registration is needed.
