What an affiliate link means
An affiliate link contains tracking information that lets a merchant know Chords.me referred the visit. The merchant may pay us a commission when a qualifying purchase is completed. The price shown by the merchant is controlled by that merchant, not by Chords.me.
How recommendations are selected
Our goal is to recommend products that fit a clear musical use case. We may consider product specifications, compatibility, pricing position, merchant information, user feedback, market signals and comparisons with alternatives. We do not describe research-based recommendations as hands-on tests unless we have evidence of direct use.
Merchant relationships
Affiliate availability can influence which merchants we are able to link to, but a commission relationship does not guarantee a positive recommendation. We may link to more than one merchant when useful, and product availability, pricing and terms can change after publication.
